Dr. Diane Flanigen is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She earned her medical degree at the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. After finishing an internship in internal medicine at Millard Fillmore Hospital, Dr. Flanigen completed her specialty training in ophthalmology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, serving as chief resident in her final year. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the New York State Ophthalmology Society.
A Buffalo native, Dr. Flanigen has a been practicing ophthalmologist in Western New York since completing her residency training. She joined Ophthalmology Associates in November 2018. She specializes in general ophthalmology with extensive experience in the care of medical conditions of the eye.
